I assume since h80i fits & is the same basic cooler, this one will fit your R1. If not, I'll buy it up from ya & hold it back as a good spare ( I assumed all Aurora's had the same body & recess for what I like to think of as any & all 120mm coolers to fit in, & that R4 did not undergo a 'cooler recess' chassis revision to accommodate the larger taller premium cooler. We know it is a direct replacement for the R4 stndrd cooler if I ever misspoke by saying it fits R1 R2 R3 w/out hands-on proof, I would say look at your cooler now & if you have 1/16 inch more room at the top & bottom of your stndrd cooler then this one will center up & fit your cooler space. 01ygw's ever-so-slightly taller than my stndrd cooler, by about 1/8 inch, or 3mm. So, which is it?Ġ1YGW compared to my standard A-51 cooler (dp/n w550r) which is basically identical in size to all Aurora standard coolers I like to think.
If you order a Aurora-R4 with ALX chassis (for $200 extra), is Premium cooler included and comes installed? Sales Website text says it does, but the config options ALSO let you add Premium Cooling (as $100 upgrade) on top of ALX model. pump/heatsink (due to socket change) as well as radiator assembly?Ĥ. Is it pin compatible with existing R1-R4 Auroras, and does it interface into Command Center?ĥ. what is the Part Number and how much does Premium copper round-cooler cost?ģ. Is Premium Cooler also made my Asetek like the original hex-shaped-cooler unit that's been installed in Area-51 and Aurora models since 2009?Ģ.
